I earned my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. During that time, I completed internships at Boston Medical Center and Arbour Hospital’s Adult Partial Hospitalization Program. From there, I worked at a community health center as an integrated therapist in primary care for 3.5 years, where I worked with adults with a wide spectrum of challenges, including substance use, depression, traumatic experiences, and anxiety. After that I received specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety disorders. I have been helping adults achieve their therapy goals ever since. My approach is collaborative and targeted to help you achieve the goals which are in line with your values.

My Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. Through my experiences helping people, I have witnessed how people’s willingness to share their struggles with another person leads to sustainable change. Therapy can feel like an overwhelming endeavor, and I’ve seen how, with the right tools, people can feel more confident in their ability to trust themselves and make choices in line with their values. This is my hope for the people I work with - to give them the tools so they can be independent, confident and live the lives they want to live, not driven by fear or anxiety.
